Maggie Cleveland shares the poem, "The blood around my heart."

Maggie Cleveland hails from the seacoast town of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, and currently lives in Providence, RI where she develops training materials for elevator & escalator mechanics through the National Elevator Industry Educational Program. She received an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, and is a member of the National Writers Union (Boston Chapter). Her poems have been published in a number of journals and anthologies. ATOM FISH, a chapbook, was published by One Time Press (New London, CT) in 2012. A full-length book of poems, A COMPLICATED PIECE OF MACHINERY WITH NUMEROUS POSSIBILITIES FOR INJURY, is forthcoming from Cobalt Press.
