Dawn fishing along the Cape Cod Canal.
Amy Vince

It's seven miles long and offers some of the best shore fishing anywhere. Welcome to the Cape Cod Canal.

But it can be intimidating for first-time fishers. So Kevin Blinkoff, of On The Water magazine, lays out what you need to know to get started fishing the Canal, including: etiquette, lures vs. jigs, and best tides.

It's all in this week's Fishing News, along with a roundup of the best local fishing action (bluefin tuna have arrived!).

Give it a listen.
