Not all fish get the spotlight like striped bass or bluefin. Some fish just quietly do their thing – and they make very good eating, too, thank you very much. Scup is that fish.

Fishing with kids, or anyone easily bored? Scup provide action, they're easy to catch, and they make a delicious meal.

Kevin Blinkoff of On The Watermagazine joins us to talk about scup: how and where to fish them, and the easiest way to prepare them.

And we roundup the local action. Stripers are heading to deeper, cooler waters; the bluefin bite south of Martha's Vineyard continues to build, making for great fishing on light tackle.

It's all in just 4 minutes. Give it a listen.
