Little Beach on Martha's Vineyard

Contaminants are degrading our freshwater ponds, drinking water and coastal embayments. PFAS, cyanobacteria, coliform bacteria and residual nitrogen are some of them, and all are associated with human activities. On The Point, we discuss the State of Cape Cod Waters with Andrew Gottlieb, Executive Director of The Association to Preserve Cape Cod, and what it will take to prevent further degradation.
We also discuss large tracts of undeveloped land on the Cape and Islands, and strategies to protect them from future development, with Mark Robinson, Executive Director of The Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts and Adam Moore, Executive Director of Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation, the land trust for Martha’s Vineyard.
