Apollo 8: the mission that changed everything

wikipedia

Six months before Neil Armstrong set foot on the Moon, the U.S. Space Program's mission Apollo 8 succeeded in a manned space craft orbit of the moon for the first time. The mission was so risky even the NASA Flight director believed the astronauts only had a 50% chance of returning safely to earth. On The Point, Mindy Todd interviews Martin Sandler about his book Apollo 8- The Mission that Changed Everything.
