A tragic shipwreck near Aquinnah, Martha's Vineyard, on a bitterly cold night in 1884 took 100 lives. The event led to new marine safety rules. On The Point, historian Thomas Dresser talks about the sinking of the steamer City of Columbus, and those who risked their lives to save the victims. Mindy Todd hosts.
