A quiet moment on Provincetown's MacMillan Pier

The mid-Cape covid outbreak has officials worrying, as high numbers continue; Governor Baker was back on the hot seat, defending his vaccine rollout plan to state legislators; the Army Corps of Engineers is moving ahead with its plan to remedy erosion in Sandwich caused by the Canal jetties; and if you’re stepping into the ring to fight for a world title, you may want to train in Provincetown.

We have those stories and more on the local news roundup, as CAI News Director Steve Junker speaks with some of the region’s leading journalists.

This week's guests include CAI's Jennette Barnes; Noah Asimow of the Vineyard Gazette; Tim Wood of the Cape Cod Chronicle; Jessica Hill of the Cape Cod Times; Mary Ann Bragg of the Provincetown Banner; CAI's Kathryn Eident speaking with Statehouse reporter Mike Deehan; and CAI's Eve Zuckoff.
