Vaccination of children ages 5-11 could start as early as November 8. On The Point, we talk about vaccination for this age group with pediatrician Greg Parkinson. We also discuss the test and stay program to keep unvaccinated kids in school after COVID exposure, and plans for in-school vaccination clinics with Alicia Bryant, Director of Health Services for Barnstable Public Schools. We talk with Helena DaSilva Hughes from the Immigrant Assistance Center in New Bedford about her efforts to reach Spanish-speaking immigrants who are vaccine-hesitant.
