Plenty to do this weekend. Here's a rundown of arts and culture events from one end of the Cape to the other.
Fall has for centuries been a big time for harvest festivals, and a Mid-Cape group is celebrating the old-fashioned way in Cotuit, with demonstrations of 19th-century crafts, and a visit from the oldest fire engine in Massachusetts. More info.
Also on Saturday, there's a big fishing party in Falmouth, marking not the start of a season, but the end of an important one for the Cape Cod economy. It's the annual StriperFest.
And in Brewster, Shark-tember is going on, with plenty to grab people who love Great Whites. More info.
Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll discuss upcoming events every week on All Things Considered. Audio of this week's conversation is posted below - give it a listen.
