Poetry is happening here on the Cape and Islands! Mindy Todd talks about the resurgence of poetry both nationally and locally on The Point. For generations the works of Longfellow, Whitman and Browning were a part of our culture, but in recent decades poetry slipped out of mainstream life. Poetry now seems to be making a comeback with events like Poetry Out Loud in schools across the country and here on the Cape and Islands with the inaugural issue of the Cape Cod Poetry review.
