News Roundup: Cape Cod Gets a Large-scale Vax Site; Mashpee Wampanoag Claim Legal Victory

S Junker

Cape Cod could see its own large-scale COVID-19 vaccination site opening as early as next week. The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe wins a legal victory, in the same week the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head Aquinnah suffers a setback in its bid for a gaming hall. And Barnstable Public Schools now decide: are the Hurricanes, Ravens, or Redhawks.

We have those stories and more on the local news roundup, as CAI News Director Steve Junker speaks with some of the region’s leading journalists.

This week's guests include CAI's Jennette Barnes and Sam Houghton; George Brennan from the Martha's Vineyard Times; Tim Wood of the Cape Cod Chronicle; Mary Ann Bragg of the Provincetown Banner; Ethan Genter at the Cape Cod Times; Noah Asimow of the Vineyard Gazette; and CAI's Kathryn Eident and Mike Deehan discussing news from the Statehouse.
