News Roundup: 3rd COVID Surge Continues; Nauset Gives New High School a Passing Grade

S Junker

The third wave of COVID-19 continues to hit Cape Cod hard, raising talk of the possibility of virus variants. Martha’s Vineyard has yet to record a single COVID death since this pandemic began – that’s unique in the state. And a new Nauset High school gets the thumbs up.

We have those stories and more on the local news roundup, as CAI News Director Steve Junker speaks with some of the region’s leading journalists.

This week's guests include CAI's Jennette Barnes and Sam Houghton; George Brennan of the Martha's Vineyard Times; Tim Wood of the Cape Cod Chronicle; K.C. Myers of the Provincetown Independent; Maia Coleman of the Vineyard Gazette; CAI's Kathryn Eident speaking with Statehouse reporter Mike Deehan; and CAI's Eve Zuckoff.
