On The Point, host Mindy Todd interviews Madeleine Kunin. They discuss her time as Governor of Vermont, as Deputy Secretary of Education, as U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland, and also her books, including her newest, Coming of Age: My Journey to the Eighties, a memoir that looks beyond the physical and emotional tolls of aging with unique poetry.
Madeline Kunin is currently James Marsh Professor-at-Large at the University of Vermont, where she gives guest lectures on feminism. She also serves on the board of the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC), a nongovernmental organization that she founded in 1991, and she recently launched Emerge Vermont to encourage and support women in politics.
