Wild About Harry

hyannisfilmfestival.com

The 1960’s and 70’s were a time of social and political upheaval in the United States. In additional to a push for racial equality, traditional norms around sexuality and gender were being challenged. Wild about Harry is a film by Gwen Wynne that explores the complex meaning of love, family and friendship during that time. The film is inspired by her experience growing up in Dennis with two gay fathers. The film is having a sneak premier at the Hyannis Film Festival this Saturday October 16th.
