The Falmouth Road Race is Sunday August 16. The 7 mile race begins in Woods Hole, ends in Falmouth Heights and draws international elite runners, amateur runners and plenty of people from the Cape and Islands who want to participate in this historic race.

Today we talk about the Falmouth Road race, the history of how it got started and why it’s put Cape Cod and Falmouth on the running map, and the year round running culture the race has helped promote in our region.
