Jumbalaya Jam in Truro, & more: Best Bets for the Weekend

Lots to do this weekend on Cape Cod and the Islands. At the Payomet Performing Arts Center in Truro, the Jumpin Jambalaya Jam brings music, dance and food on Saturday, with an afternoon program geared for children and evening events for adults. The Martha’s Vineyard Film Society is sponsoring a three-day festival of music-related films and fun activities. The Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis opens its major summer exhibition – art created by actor Anthony Quinn - who knew he was also a painter and sculptor?  And on Sunday, it’s the 19th annual Father’s Day Car Show all along Main Street, Hyannis – and that’s taking place at about the same time as the Bikes on Ice Motorcycle Show at the youth and community center nearby.

Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll talk about these events in the audio posted above.
