There are plenty of great events to get involved with this weekend. If you're in the mood for a parade, Sandwich has a big, BIG one planned to mark the grand finale of its town-wide 375th anniversary.

Harwich has a unusual music festival on Saturday and Sunday - it involves a mysterious piano found deep in the woods.

In Provincetown, the salt air will be shimmering to the strum of many ukuleles, with the 5th return of an annual Ukulele Bash.

Aviation buffs mark your calendar for next week: the Wings of Freedom tour returns to Hyannis Wednesday through Friday, with selection of World War II planes.

And looking ahead, the Cultural Center of Cape Cod starts a new music series next week that will transport you, after a fashion, to New York City for some great jazz.

Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll discuss upcoming events every Thursday during All Things Considered. Audio of this week's conversation is posted above.
