Healthy Lifestyles: Getting Creative in the Kitchen

We’re into the second month of the stay-at-home order. For many, cooking and eating have shifted with the change of season and since the pandemic first began. Last month it was hard to find yeast, pasta and flour. Now we’re seeing limits on chicken, pork and other meats. On The Point, listeners tell us what they’re cooking and eating, and how they’re feeling about it all. Shortages have inspired some to explore new recipes. 

 

Stacey Richmond, Registered Dietitian specialising in eating disorders, and practitioner of Integrative Nutrition Therapy for over 20 years. She provides individual counseling, coaching, workshops and retreats for women through her business Kind Eating.  

Dena Irwin, Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist at the Community Health Center of Cape Cod and Registered Yoga Teacher. She practices integrative nutrition, using whole foods healing and offers holistic nutrition counseling and cooking lessons through her business Nourish.
