The teenage years are a time for increasing independence, forming an identity outside the family, and connecting with like minded peers. For seniors in high school it's a time of milestones and excitement for the future. A pandemic and social isolation puts a halt to all of this.
We hear from teens navigating through this time, and we sort through some of the challenges, emotions and opportunities, with our guests on The Point:
Ellen Queeney- LISCW for family and teens in private practice
Takeru Nagayoshi- Massachusetts teacher of the year for 2020 and English teacher at New Bedford High School
Scott Fitzmaurice- Executive Director, Cape and Islands Gay & Straight Youth Alliance
