Poetry Sunday: Barry Hellman

Barry Hellman’s poems have appeared in literary journals, anthologies, playbills, broadsides, and The King of Newark published by Finishing Line Press. He is the founder, organizer, and host of  the Cape Cod Poetry Group’s Poetry & Music Series, administrates its Facebook page, and leads workshops on the art, craft, and performance of poetry. He is the Outer Cape Regional Representative for the Mass Poetry Outreach Project in Boston, and previously co-curated and hosted the Poets Corner Poetry & Music Open Mic at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. Barry has a B.A. in English, an M.S. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology, and for many years was in private practice and an adjunct faculty member in the Doctoral Program in Professional Psychology at Antioch New England Graduate School. His poems often explore personal relationships, aging, existential issues, and internal landscapes.
