Still from the movie

Before it was a movie starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, The Sound of Music was on Broadway starring Mary Martin. The Broadway version of the beloved family classic is celebrating its 60th Anniversary. We talk with Robert Wyatt about the music created by Rodgers and Hammerstein for the musical and the film. We’ll hear music from both productions plus a recording of the family that inspired The Sound of Music- the Trapp Family Singers. Get ready to sing along on The Point….
