Cape Cod Times

Summer is well under way, and so are the local events. Here's your Weekend Outlook.

It’s all about dogs this weekend at the Paw Palooza festival in South Yarmouth, whether they’re competing, doing stunts or just attending the event. The event takes place on July 14th and 15th at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School.

An international curling competition, with some top athletes, begins in Falmouth this weekend. It's the 49th Annual SummerSpiel

To find out more about Nantucket’s "Great Fire" back in the 19th century, the Nantucket Historical Association has a new tour that will follow the route of the fire in the Nantucket Hotel’s 1945 Pumper.

If you’d like to ride on a Tall Ship rather than a truck, there will be chances to do that in Provincetown starting on Sunday on the Kalmar Nyckel, a traditional vessel that is described as the "Queen of the Tall Ship fleet."
