Book Explores Aviation History

Alta Mae Stevens talks about her book “…and then what happened? Harold Harris and the Early Development of Aviation.”  Charles Lindbergh, Jimmy Doolittle, and Eddie Rickenbacker may be familiar to you especially if you are up on your aviation history.  What about Harold Harris? We talk about this man who much of history has forgotten, and his remarkable near-eighty years which involved every aspect of aviation. He was an Air Force Brigadier General who was one of the most distinguished pilots holding 26 flying records. He died at the age of 92 in 1988 at his home in Falmouth.
