At the Transom Story Workshop, beginning radio producers get nine weeks of full-time training in Woods Hole. The workshop was created by WCAI station founder Jay Allison. Students have a microphone in hand on day one, and by the end of the nine weeks have produced a ready to air radio piece. Rob Rosenthal is lead instructor of the Workshop, and he joins Mindy Todd in The Point studio to talk about this spring’s class and what they produced.
