According to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America it’s estimated that as many as 5.1 million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease and the incidence of the disease is rising in line with the aging population. It’s also estimated that one to four family members act as caregivers for each individual with Alzheimer’s. Mindy Todd hosts Dr. Molly Perdue, Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Family Support Center, and Clinical Director Vaughn Harding.
