It’s estimated that nearly one hundred and seventy thousand children lost one caregiver during the pandemic so far. In many cases, grandparents are the ones who step in to provide care and support. How has the pandemic highlighted and exacerbated the challenges grandparents have in this role? What supports and services are available? On The Point, we talk with grandparents, support group leaders, and others, about the challenges and joys of raising grandchildren.
