Hannah Mahoney has close connections to Mattapoisett, her father's hometown and a place of many cherished memories. She lives in Cambridge. Her work has appeared in The Ekphrastic Review, One Sentence Poems, Right Hand Pointing, and Unlost. She writes haiku in addition to long-form poetry; her haiku have appeared in Modern Haiku, The Heron’s Nest, Acorn, Hedgerow,and many other journals, and she is the recipient of a Kaji Aso International Haiku Award.
