Poetry Sunday: Jennifer Markell

Jennifer Markell shares the poem, "Landscape with Painters."

Jennifer Markell's first poetry collection, Samsara, (Turning Point, 2014) was named a “Must Read Book of Poetry” by the Massachusetts Book Awards. Her second book, "Singing at High Altitude" is forthcoming from The Main Street Rag. Jennifer’s work has been published in numerous journals and magazines, including The Bitter Oleander, The Cimarron Review, Consequence, Tinderbox and the Women’s Review of Books. She serves on the board of the New England Poetry Club and works as a psychotherapist with special interest in therapeutic uses of writing. Jennifer lives with her husband and three well-versed cats.
