If good things to do were presents under the tree, we would have a mountain of fun packages to open. The busy holiday season continues with three fun dance programs this weekend. The eighth annual Dancing for a Cure raises money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The Atlantic Coast Academy of Dance is putting on the holiday program, Coppelia. Reaching Heart Center of Harwich offers four performances of the Nutcracker, with different children in the cast each show.
Also this weekend, Elements Theater Companyis presents a holiday classic — A Christmas Carol — but it has received a fresh treatment (hungry anyone?). And, this is the season for Holiday Strolls, and in South Yarmouth they’ve got a very sweet take on the tradition: the annual Cookie Stroll.
Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll speak about events each Thursday during All Things Considered. Audio of this week's conversation is posted above. Give it a listen.
