Gamma-ray bursts are the most powerful explosions in the universe.

Space telescopes unexpectedly detected what is likely a record-breaking gamma-ray burst earlier this month. CAI's John Basile talks with Dr. Regina Jorgenson of the Maria Mitchell Observatory on Nantucket about the implications of this event.
