Mindy Todd
Executive Editor & Host and Producer of "The Point"Mindy Todd is the host and producer of The Point on WCAI, a program that explores a wide range of issues important to Cape Cod, the Islands, and the Southcoast.
She has led The Point since 2001 and brings more than four decades of experience in radio and television to the role.
Todd launched her broadcasting career as a DJ at WARE in Ware, Massachusetts, where she became host of the morning drive show in 1981—making her one of the few women at the time to anchor a morning program.
Over the years, she’s taken on a variety of roles in media, including radio disc jockey, traffic reporter, television news anchor and reporter, program director, and talk show host. Her work has spanned multiple states, including Vermont, Maine, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Along the way, she has earned several industry awards recognizing her contributions to broadcasting.
Since February 2012, Todd has been Executive Editor of CAI’s NPR station, where she oversees both the newsroom and station programming.
