Going Offshore for Tile Fish

S Junker

You're not likely to run into a tile fish unless you spend some time and effort to target them. But they may be one of the best tasting fish around.

Tile fish live in deep water out at the edge of the continental shelf, about a 100 miles offshore.  Andy Nabreski, of On the Water magazine, talks about fishing for tile fish, and about how a diet of lobsters and crabs may contribute to their distinctive flavor. And we round up the local fishing action. It's all in just 4 minutes. Give it a listen.
